Key Responsibilities:
As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a range of heavy machinery. This role will involve a mix of depot-based and field-based work, offering variety and new challenges each day. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Field Service: Attend breakdowns and service calls at customer sites, providing quick and effective solutions.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Ensure all machinery is properly serviced to avoid downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Fitting and Welding: Use your skills in fitting and welding to make necessary modifications or repairs on-site.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, ensuring that they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Vehicle Use: Use the company-provided vehicle for fieldwork and ensure it is maintained in good condition.
