We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Manager. The continued success of our client has resulted in major contract wins nationwide and now a need to expand operations and seek an additional, experienced Project Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will oversee the planning and delivery of various oil & gas pipeline construction projects across the UK. Based in Ilkeston
DUTIES-
Managing construction of various oil & gas pipeline & installation projects throughout UK.
Organising & taking leading role on project.
Ensuring each project meets its targets for quality & customer satisfaction.
Management & monitoring works to ensure compliance with clients specifications.
Liaising with staff to ensure works are undertaken to everyones satisfaction.
Maintaining records / diaries & actively supporting resolution of all construction issues.
Implementing positive health, safety & environmental regime at all times.
Delivery of excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
Seeking ways to continuously improve processes & service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
With a background in engineering, and experience in project management, you will also have the following qualifications and experience:
Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years experience working in engineering role.
Minimum 3 years Mechanical & Civil experience in oil & gas industry: specific to above ground installations (AGIs) & pipeline projects. *
Successful track record of delivering projects on time, in budget, whilst meeting clients technical expectations.
Experience in Project Engineering & the Management of Design.
Understanding of trenchless crossing techniques, e.g. HDD & Micro Tunnel construction.
