Sales account manager

Robertson Recruitment are looking for a sales account manager to join our manufacturing client on a permanent basis. It will be up to you to manage a portfolio of existing clients/jobs and supporting the team through the production process. It will also be up to you to bring in new leads and manage long-term clients to find new ways to generate recurring business. This is not a hybrid role.

Please be aware you can earn up £1500 extra in commission a month after you have passed a successful probation.

Sales account manager working hours

08:00 until 16:30 Monday to Thursday

07:30 to 16:00 Friday

Sales account manager duties

  • Managing sales - Research and develop new business opportunities and generating leads and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Onboarding new clients - Inputting of new customer details onto Sage 50
  • Account management - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and satisfaction
  • Aftercare - Follow up with existing contacts for any repeat/new business
  • Sales processes - Review sales process to ensure it is in line with how to win business.
  • Communicating - Responding to internal and external queries, through all methods including phone and email and communicating efficiently
