Claires School Solutions are recruiting for more experienced supply Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching assistants across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) to join our lovely team and work in our local primary schools around the Ilkeston area. We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles in part-time and full-time employment.
Working as part of the schools dynamic and creative teams, the appointed supplySEN teaching assistants will focus on delivering 1-1 support to pupils with SEN. The successful teaching assistants will have good knowledge of the curriculum, experience working with a variety of needs, and will be able to build strong relationships with the pupils.
It is essential to have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in the classroom.
- Have an understanding of safeguarding.
- A passion for working and supporting SEN childrens learning.
- Previous UK experience working in a Primary School environment.
- Strong communication skills that can be demonstrated by an ability to build relationships with other professionals.
