ELV Car Depollution and Dismantler (Car Mechanic)

Recycleacarhave an exciting opportunity for an End of Life (ELV) Car Depollution and Dismantler who has experience as a car mechanic to join our scrap car recycling business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

You will be part of a team of recycling professionals all committed to doing their part in environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

- Operating a FLT

- Understanding how to recycle parts of each vehicle

- Ensure proper documentation and paperwork for each job

- Maintain a clean and organised work environment

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

- Ability to dismantle cars

- Experience as a car mechanic

- Experience in operating a FLT advantageous

- Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment

- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the spot

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects
