Vacancy: PDI Technician
Location: West Hallam
Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm
Salary: Up to OTE £32K DOE, plus great company benefits

My client is looking for a PDI Inspector for their commercial vehicle company in the area, this as an excellent opportunity to join a very successful company, with great benefits, and great working hours.

Requirements:

  • Previous Workshop experience
  • A minimum City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Repair
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Great customer service skills
  • A full UK manual driving licence
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • A Team Player mentality

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on all vehicles according to the pre-delivery inspection checklist.
  • Carrying out collection inspections on all vehicles prior to customer delivery, in line with the checklist.
  • Completing minor services on vehicles as required
  • Completing minor repairs where necessary.
  • To accessorise vehicles as and when required.
  • Ensuring all work carried out meets health and safety requirements along with meeting Pentagon and manufacturer standards of quality.
  • Reporting additional repair or safety issues to the Workshop Manager that require further work and cost.
