We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of Physics and preparing them for success in exams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Physics (or a closely related subject)
  • Experience teaching Physics at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for Physics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Tailor teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring every student makes progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and take part in extracurricular science activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive and engaging learning experience for all students
