About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nights Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our care team in Ilkley. This role offers 24.50 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate of £13.75 per hour. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be medication trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the care team during night shifts to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Administer medications accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Provide personal care and support to residents, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Foster a calm and reassuring environment during night hours.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential.
- Must have completed medication training and be competent in administering medications.
- Previous experience in a senior care role, preferably in a care home setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a compassionate approach to care.
