We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join a school in Leeds. This role is ideal for a tutor who is passionate about both subjects and keen to support students who need extra help to achieve their potential. Essential Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Experience tutoring or teaching in a secondary school setting

  • Collaborate with teachers to align support with classroom learning.
  • Track and record student progress for reporting and evaluation.
  • Provide feedback to students and suggest practical ways to improve.
  • Support students with literacy and numeracy difficulties.
  • Implement strategies to boost reading comprehension and problem-solving skills.
  • Support students in developing effective study habits.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
