- To ensure that the correct controls and documentations are in place to ensure product quality, integrity and traceability: Quality Planning, Quality documentation and storage, on-time delivery, training for inspection methods and techniques, visual conformance guides, inspection equipment and product handling, ALL in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001
- To manage the Laboratory and ensure compliance to procedures/process in Bi-metal and Plating as well as Small Turbo part cleanliness.
- Ensure that the EHS management systems are administered, maintained and developed. To promote a positive Quality and EHS culture, and be fully involved in all aspects of H&S including H&S inspections, risk assessments, COSHH, accident investigations etc. and to report any concerns or shortfalls as appropriate.
- The goods inwards and despatch areas must be managed effectively at all times, which includes 5S and consignment identification, as well as ensuring that consignments are despatched correctly and that the loading of lorries is performed correctly.
- Previous experience in a Quality and EHS management role is essential, ideally within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment, from which you will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of quality management systems
- Previous experience of successfully leading a team from which you will have gained the ability to prioritise and organise team tasks effectively, and to motivate and develop team members
- Drive, commitment and leadership to ensure that the highest standards of quality performance are continuously maintained for our customers
- Confident and effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Advanced numeracy and analytical skills are required, with the ability to interpret data analysis results for decision making. You will hold a high level of competency in the use of spreadsheets, databases and Word applications.
