Established over several decades ago, this exciting company specialises in design and production of a unique automotive product. Since firmly cementing themselves as a key player within the industry, there is now an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to prove themselves within the role and become the new Technical backbone of this exceptional Somerset based company.In this role you will liaise with an oversea engineering team, confirming the product design and development side of production. When delivered to the Ilminster depot you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the product, identifying any technical problems and repairing any faults the product may have, whilst complying with the appropriate legislations.The ideal candidate will either come from a compliance background or be an electrical or mechanical engineer with a good understanding of product development. Due to the skilled team, the company are open to a candidate with a varied background with a thirst to step into a compliance based position.

  • Liaise with the engineering team

The Person:

  • Either from a compliance background or a Mechanical or electrical background looking for a compliance role
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing sector
  • Live local or willing to commute to Ilminster
