Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for your next challenge? We are working with a leading company in the industrial solutions sector to find a skilled individual to oversee their service/aftersales operations.

Responsibilities of the Service Manager: 

  • Leading and managing a team of Field Engineers, Workshop Engineers and a Workshop Supervisor
  • Carrying out routine checks on work standards, including vehicle and on-site inspections 
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for repairs and maintenance 
  • Assisting the aftersales team when required, providing support to streamline operations 

Requirements of the Service Manager: 

  • Previous background in engineering as a workshop/and or field engineer 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving License 
  • An understanding of revenue streams, aftersales, profit & loss, costings or profit margins 
  • Be able to lead and effectively manage a team 

You may have worked as a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, Aftersales Supervisor, Service Supervisor, Workshop Manager, Aftersales Team Leader, Chargehand or similar.
