Senior Financial Accountant – Immingham – £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)Chase & Holland are working with this forward thinking, market leading manufacturing business based in Immingham to recruitment a Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting into the UK Financial Controller for this international business, you’ll be responsible for the management, financial and statutory financial accounting activities for the company. This role represents an exceptional career opportunity for the right person to become UK Financial Controller in 18 months – 2 years.In return:

Responsibilities will include:
  • Provide management team with accurate and comprehensive financial information
  • Production of Management Accounts in line with the financial reporting calendar
  • Prepare and analyse monthly reporting, to include variance analysis, product sales and costings, Line of Business analysis, stock and CapEx
  • Completion of monthly Group reporting packs along with associated supplementary analysis
  • Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Management of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring assets in the course of construction are capitalised
  • Treasury and cashflow management
  • Stock management
  • Continual improvement of procedures and processes to enhance controls, system use and efficiencies
  • Managing and mentoring a small finance team
  • Quarterly VAT returns and assist with CT return
  • Support the preparation of the annual Financial Statements and associated audit pack
  • Support the internal/external audit processes ensuring audit and reporting deadlines are achieved
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Qualified Accountant, either ACA or ACCA
  • Exceptional technical accounting skills and understanding of statutory and group reporting
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Ability to lead change management projects
  • Self motivated and driven to make a difference
  • Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally
