We are working with an established manufacturing company in Stallingborough to recruit a Laboratory Technician. The role will initially be a 1-year fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure consistent availability of all laboratory consumables
- Contribute to the lifecycle of new product introduction, from initial concept through to development
- Ensure products are compliant
- Create and evaluate laboratory formulations for product development, including application testing and specification setting
- Attend regular meetings with other departments
- Adhere to company health and safety procedures in all work activities
- Manage colour matching and development projects using the established internal workflow
- Liaise with other factories across Europe
The Perfect Laboratory Technician will be:
- Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but not essential
- A background in Science or Engineering would be beneficial
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to demonstrate problem solving and be an analytical thinker
Qualifications for the perfect Laboratory Manager:
- No experience required, but candidates should ideally have a background in Science or Engineering
