We are currently recruiting to expand our Ro-Ro terminal tug drivers based on the Port of Immingham.

What is the role of a Ro-Ro Driver?
Working as a Ro-Ro Tug Driver on an expanding Ro-Ro terminal on the Port of Immingham within a team to ensure the safe discharge of cargo.
- Operating a Tugmaster to pull trailers
- Completing daily machinery checks
- Working as part of a team to ensure safety within all operations
What experience do you need to be a Ro-Ro Tug Driver?
To be a successful Ro-Ro driver you must have a good understanding of Health and Safety as well as a Full UK Driving licence, experience working within a ro-ro operation or driving large vehicles such as HGV, LGV or Buses is highly desirable not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience operating a Tugmaster is desirable not essential as training can be provided
- Previous experience as a Ro-Ro tug driver is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
- Experience operating large vehicles such as HGV, LGV, 7t+, Coaches or Buses is desirable but not essential
- H&S conscientious at all times
- Flexible approach to work
- Keen to learn new skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is is desirable e.g. Tug Driver, Roro Driver, Lorry Driver, Port Operative. Crane Driver, Shovel Driver, Tug Tipper Driver, Class 2 Driver, Class 1 Driver, Container Operative
