Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a HGV HIAB Operator on a 6 months contract basis for their Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Immingham.
The HGV HIAB Driver role comes with an hourly rate from 18.00 to 20.00 per hour.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operation of the HIAB HGV
- Ensure proper use of controls, outriggers, and stabilizers to maintain stability during operations.
- Conduct pre-use inspections to verify the crane's condition and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- Safely load and secure goods onto vehicles to prevent movement during transit.
- Transport loads to and from designated locations in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Cleaning and maintaining HGV.
- Must hold an in date HGV license (HIAB)
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the HGV HIAB Operator role:
- Immingham, Lincolnshire
- 18.00 to 20.00 per hour (CIS)
- January 2025
