This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need for Male supportworkersonly.Looking for support for our male client with learning disability and complex behaviour in the Immingham DN40 area. Support is on a one-to-one basis in the clients home.
Shifts include daytime shifts with sleep ins on a rota basis. Ideally covering a24-hour period with sleep in.
You will need:
- Full working rights in the UK (VP do not offer sponsorship)
- Driving Licence
- Fluent English
- Caring, patient and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivation to make a difference to our clients
- Experience of supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Behaviours, or some form of care experience to meet a specific level of knowledge
- Your responsibilities would include:
- Providing high quality person cantered support to our clients
- Supporting our client with working toward their rehabilitation/development goals
- Moving and handling via hoisting
- Supporting with daily living tasks and engaging in fulfilling and meaningful activities with our clients
- Providing support to access the community that are engaging and fun for our clients
- Personal care and physical support in a dignified and respectful way
- Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Managing complex behavior and risk presented.

Salary:
