Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of client payrolls for weekly, bi-weekly, 4-weekly, and monthly periods plus some small annual payrolls.
  • Completion of CIS returns.
  • Regular communication with clients concerning gross pay rates, net pay, and HMRC liabilities as well as staff changes and ad hoc deductions/expenses.
  • Reconciliations of HMRC liabilities.
  • Processing of net pay to employees through client bank accounts for a small number of payrolls.
  • Processing and submitting information to various pension providers - main ones being NEST, Now, Peoples Pension, Aviva, and Royal London.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
