Project Manager (QHSE)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Project Leader with a proven track record in QHSE and a strong background in the Nuclear and Defence sectors. In this role, you’ll drive utilisation and profitability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across high-profile projects.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of an established QHSE department through strategic leadership, client optimisation, and commercial direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the UK Head of Discipline to identify areas for improvement and maximise efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to accelerate departmental profitability.
- Collaborate with QHSE professionals to identify opportunities for client optimisation across multiple projects.
- Represent the department in client meetings, building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure strategies align with statutory requirements, industry best practices, and company policies.
- Oversee compliance with contractual, legal, and process requirements, providing expert guidance to project teams.
- Engage with QHSE project teams and supply chain partners to foster strong relationships and drive cultural improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate (essential)
- Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in highly regulated industry environment
- Experience working within project delivery teams
- Proven ability to manage confidential and commercial information
- Experience preparing and presenting management reports and insights
- Minimum SC clearance is essential for this role and the successful candidate must be willing to obtain DV clearance
