Our client, based in Aberdeenshire, in a beautiful pictureesque area, are looking for two CDP's for a short term contract.

The role will be to start on the 22nd of July, for 2 x weeks, with possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a keen interest in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your assigned station(s) in the kitchen. You will work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure all menu items are prepared with attention to detail and according to our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned station(s) according to the menu and recipes provided.
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with menu planning, inventory, and ordering of supplies.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of the ingredients used, and maintain proper rotation of product.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff members and apprentices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving kitchen standards, procedures, and food quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
