Adecco have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our client who are the leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment.

The roles include demonstrating and installation of there products at client's sites along with staff training and you will be working on customer sites throughout Aberdeen and North of Scotland, making sure that everything is running smoothly.

Your role will involve completing all repairs within contracted service level agreements, which means you'll be making follow-up calls to install additional parts, performing Portable Appliance Tests (PAT), and carrying out scheduled planned maintenance services.

Our client will equip you with everything you need - a van, mobile phone, iPad, uniform, and even training! And the best part - you'll only be working weekdays!

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

  • Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures
  • Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time".
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit
  • Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels
  • Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard

The key skills and qualities we are looking for are:

  • A strong understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machines
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service
  • Analyse problems and develop effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard
  • Adapt to different work environments, working with different machines and equipment
  • Work well with others, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
