Pertemps in conjunction our client are recruiting a part time warehouse operator at Aberdeen Dyce.Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.Competitive salary.This is a hands on role, working directly with secure, custom cleared shipmentsEnsure all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently high levels of precisionthis a partCriteria:The post holder is responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded intovehicles in a precise, safe and time efficient manner.You will be required to scan and distribute material within the service centre in line with Global Operating Procedures, ensuring adherence to legislative health, safety and security policies and standards.Specific Role Challenges (key focus areas/challenges expected for post holder)Ensuring health, safety and security compliance at all timesPrecise and careful handling of shipmentsWorking to tight timeframes and deadlines sDemonstrating excellent team work to meet SLAsProcessProcess all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with DHLcompliance proceduresScan/process shipments in accordance with GSDP checkpoint REFguideEnsure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently.Maintain a high level of attention to detail.Manual lifting of shipments is required.Adhere to all DHL Health & Safety, Quality, Security and Environmentalcompliance standards which also includes the working time directive.A computer system will be required to be used during the pursuit ofyour duties.Plan and prepare working practices ensuring maximum efficiency.Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.Ensure warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after end of shiftAdhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working TimeDirective regulations etc.Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to ensure thecorrect functioning of the Service Centre.Adhere to all company procedures.Safety and security:Adhere to country laws and regulations, companyand third party rules and standards.Adhere to customs / import / export procedures.All employees engaged in activity on behalf of DHL International (UK)Ltd are to comply with all applicable security proceduresAll employees are to bring any potential security breaches or concernsto the attention of their supervisors Perform any other reasonable duties as requiredCustomer/StakeholderWork in a professional and efficient manner in order to increase customer satisfaction.Communicate with colleagues ensuring that service delivery levels areconsistently highSafety and SecurityAdhere to country laws/regulations and company procedures/standards in regard to Safety and SecurityAdhere to customs / import / export procedures as applicableEnsure any potential security breaches or concerns are brought to theattention of supervisor/manager without delayThere may be a requirement to undertake a Counter Terrorism Check(CTC) in relation to certain duties and proceduresSkills/CapabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communicationKnowledge and understanding of manualhandling techniques.Good team work.Able to perform physical requirements of therole.A precise and time measured approach totasks and activities.Committed to achieving results.Able to work to deadlines.Displays the CIS attributes of can do, passion, speed and right first time.Aviation Security Training (preferred).Manual Handling (preferred).FLT (advantageous).ExperienceExperience within a warehouse environment(preferred)Competitive salary and numerous benefitsIf interested in this role, please apply by submitting your CV.
