A leading Steel Fabrication company based in Colpy, Insch, is currently recruiting for a number of Welder / Fabricators to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hourly rate; between 12.50 and 21 p/h depending on experience
- Overtime; uncapped at x1.5 basic rate and double time on a Sunday. Overtime is readily available and not capped.
- Hours per week: 39 with an early finish on a Friday - 7am - 3.30 - Mon to Thurs, 7am - 2.30pm Friday
- Location: Colpy, Insch
- Annual leave allowance: 29 days - bank holidays must be booked if taken as company is open on bank hoidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute welding plans from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Carry out welding and fabrication processes using MIG and TIG
- Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols.
Skills / Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in industrial or commercial settings.
- Proficient in various welding methods and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, City & Guilds) preferred.
