Role Overview:

As Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent in managing various aspects of the construction project. You will play an essential role in coordinating subcontractors, overseeing work packages, and ensuring construction activities are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. The project involves a high voltage alternating current (HVAC) transmission system between Crossaig and Inveraray, with a capacity of at least 220MW. • Monitor progress against project milestones and budgets, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site staff, addressing technical queries and coordinating any necessary design changes.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, including daily diaries, photographic records, and as-built drawings to document project activities and achievements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, whilst also demonstrating independence and working with minimal supervision.
