Royal Mail is seeking multi-drop Parcel Delivery Drivers for an 8-week contract starting ASAP in Invergordon.
The position requires working hours from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Saturday, with a pay rate of £13.37 per hour.
Candidates should have a valid UK driving license, with previous delivery experience preferred but not mandatory.
The role is physically demanding, requiring the delivery of parcels weighing up to 20kg and walking at least 8 miles per day.
Successful applicants must be able to pass a disclosure check and may need to work overtime or weekends.

You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.

Key Skills:

Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
Working outdoors in all weathers is required
