Salary: £30,000 + BonusRole: Permanent – Full timeGreat opportunity to join a hugely expanding multi-brand tyre wholesaler as a Business Development Manager covering the Scotland M8 Central Belt. This company has seen massive growth year on year which has positioned them as a market leader and require the BDM to lead their growth even further. Working with the market leading tyre brands, the company also have exclusivity on two growing brands looking to shake the tyre market up. The company have got an excellent database of existing clients and the role will combine developing those customers alongside identifying new opportunities.Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager to include:
  • Identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Conducting market research, overseeing sales and marketing strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Working closely with the internal sales team to build strategies to be able to sell to and successfully deliver to both chain and independent customers.
  • Be able to react to sales outside of the territory as customers require.
  • Carry out site visits to introduce products and close sales
Key experience for the Business Development Manager to include:
  • Tyre Knowledge is essential
  • Brand selling experience
  • Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management skills
  • Ability to conduct market research and analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Well versed in all MS Office products
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful business relationships.
