Role: Senior Project Manager - Generators

Based: Scotland Based

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 Basic dependent upon experience & Car Allowance

ROLE - SENIOR PROJECTS MANAGER - GENERATORS:

My client is a leading supplier of standby-generators & power solutions for projects across the UK. A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Project Manager to handle and lead a Gas Power Installation project, overseeing both the installation & management of various sub-contractors involved.

The role reports directly into a Head of Projects and offers future development potential. The position is integral to the business in making sure projects are delivered on time and on budget. The role will be involved with the sales process, assist with bids, provide technical support, Manage Project Delivery including Factory witness tests, Mechanical & Electrical Installation and lead the relationship with the customer. It will manage at site level the installation process, but also the relationship and day to day management of all sub-contractors involved.

Candidate - GENERATORS:

• You will need at least 5 years’ relevant Project Management experience. It would be ideal to find someone from a Gas Power background & someone who has worked for an M&E Contractor that has experience of managing the sub-contractors onsite.

• It is of paramount importance that you are technically strong, ideally with an academic qualification such as a degree or HND Engineering to back this up.

• You will need to be articulate and be able to communicate well both internally and with customers and have a large amount of commercial acumen.

• The candidate needs to be based in the Scotland in what is a hybrid role with a combination of home, site and office based work.
