CRP Group are looking for experienced and ambitious Ecologists from Junior to Senior levels working across the UK, on behalf of their client who are a growing and ambitious business, supporting clients of all sizes throughout the UK, from rail, civils and construction, to power generation, renewable energy and retail, providing expert, robust ecological advice and guidance.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent time management and organisational skills, be capable of working independently, and make informed decisions that reflect their level of expertise.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in ecology or a related field.
  • Must possess at least two species licenses (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in fieldwork, including habitat and bat surveys.
  • A solid track record in office-based consultancy tasks such as reporting and mapping.
  • Level 1 Class Licence for bat surveys, with other survey licences welcomed.
  • Strong botanical identification skills.
  • Experience in Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessments and using the UKHab classification.
  • Capability to conduct regular fieldwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Membership of CIEEM.
  • Level 2 Class Licence for bat surveys.
  • Licences for other protected species surveys.
  • Experience in EPS Mitigation Licensing.
  • Proficiency in GIS mapping.
  • Understanding of relevant protected species planning policies, including the NPPF and local plans, in relation to development.
