Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic teams. Role Overview:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor, you will play key roles in the successful delivery of refurbishment projects by providing expert advice on cost management and ensuring all aspects of the financial control of projects are managed effectively. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, overseeing all stages of the projects lifecycles, from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates
  • Conduct cost analysis, valuations, and financial reports
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Advise on procurement methods, tendering, and contract negotiation
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of information
  • Manage risk and value engineering processes to optimize project costs
  • Prepare and review contractual documents, including bills of quantities and specifications
  • Assist in resolving any disputes or claims that arise throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the industry
  • Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
