Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Analyse and interpret complex financial data to support strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with senior managers across multiple departments to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance multiuser financial systems and accounting software.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance-related activities.
- Identify opportunities for automating and streamlining accounting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part qualified in a professional accounting qualification from a recognised accounting body, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in management accounting, financial analysis, or a related finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, SUMUPS, and VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Experience working in a multi-department environment, interacting with senior management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial modelling.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in financial reporting.
