We’re partnering with a long-established Engineering Consultancy to find a Structural Design Engineer for their Inverness office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building structures including distilleries, commercial, and residential builds
- Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings for construction
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
- Prepare reports, proposals, and other technical documents for clients
- Work closely with clients in office and on site to develop relationships
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural design
- Proficient in the use of industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build client relationships
- Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
