Morgan Hunt is currently seeking HGV Drivers for an ongoing contract based in Inverness. No training is necessary as full training will be provided.To be successful for this role:
- You will be required to have a HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Taco Digi Card.
- Be able to pass random Drug and Alcohol Test
These contracts will be long term for a minimum of 5 months with an immediate start date. There could be the opportunity for a permanent job at the end of the season for the right person.Your role will be expected to do HGV Driving of a class 2 vehicle for winter maintenance work. The operatives generally work on a rota basis, you will be undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks as well as driving gritters.
- Hourly rate of £17.42 per hour
- Overtime will be paid after 40 hours at an enhanced rate - (Time and Half)
- Night shift is paid at x 1.3 for the first 40hrs and 1.8 for anything over 40hrs
- Standbys are also set depending on your working pattern.
- Full week - £110 standby
There is a great opportunity to earn overtime and decent standby payments.Overtime is all dictated by the weather.
