Technical Sales Representative (Electrical) please note: Knowledge of electrical bulk material or experience working in a similar technical role - this is an essential requirement in the application of this role.
Responsible To: Sales Office Manager
Working as a team member where service and quality are key to success
Main Duties
- Ensure full and timely progression of customer quotations
- Assist sales team with technical clarifications/appraisals
- Co-ordinate orders
- Maintain and develop good customer and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with quality management system
- Ensure that all sales transactions are dealt with efficiently and professionally
- Make sure that all records and files are accurately maintained
- To undertake other tasks as and when required
Personal Specifications:-
- Must be organised, self-motivated and have customer-centric attitude
- Knowledge of electrical bulk material or experience working in a similar technical role
- Supply chain experience with a background in Oil and Gas would be advantageous
- Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Computer literate, especially in Excel
- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner
