I'm working with an established civil engineering contractor who work across Scotland, the contractor is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a large civil engineering project near Inverness.
The right Site Engineer for this business will be someone who's worked for a large sub-contractor on a civil engineering project, they could have experience in working on RC structures, groundworks, earthworks or infrastructure projects.
Some of the responsibilities of the Site Engineer include;
- Setting out for project
- Interpret and execute from construction drawings
- Check drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors
- Keep accurate site records and site diaries
- Liaise with customers and clients to ensure projects are completed within specification
- Promote quality, health and safety and environmental standards on site
- Other Site Engineer related activities
As a Site Engineer you'll have;
- Relevant HND/Degree in a Construction/Civil Engineering field
- Experience on working on civil engineering, RC structures, groundworks projects
- Track record of working on similar projects listed above
- A background in any civil engineering discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
