Your new company

Working for a major construction company to deliver a high value project in the Inverness area, you will join them on a permanent basis in the role of Site Manager. This opportunity has an immediate start and offers a competitive salary package.

Your new role

In your new role as a Site Manager you will contribute to the safe and effective running of a large scale construction project in the Inverness area. You will be responsible for duties such as management of subcontractors, quality checks, safety walk rounds, completing paperwork such as permits and safety logs. As a Site Manager, you will co-ordinate on-site labour and organise daily tasks for the site team. You will work with the wider site team to achieve project deadlines and take any opportunities to deliver positive outcomes for the projects. You will be involved in site inductions, site briefings and attend progress meetings with the client and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

This role will require you to have previous experience in Site Management roles and strong technical knowledge in the construction sector. Whether you are qualified with a formal qualification like a degree in construction management, SVQ training and qualifications or of a trades background where you have progressed into a management role, you will be considered for this opportunity. Ideally, you will hold an SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work certificate. In addition, you must be a good team player, have excellent communication and organisational skills.
