Electrician
GRANTS is part of the Forsyth Group, established in 1911. It is a long established electrical and instrumentation business serving a worldwide client base in a variety of industries including distillation, oil & gas, power, petrochemical, and domestic.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit Electricians / Approved Electricians in Inverness.
This role as a Electrician is responsible for:
- Carrying our electrical installations, repairs and inspections at various industrial, commercial and domestic premises
- Completing relevant reports
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with customers
- Diagnosing and rectifying problems
- Work in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, SJIB codes of practice and customer site specific rules.
The ideal candidate as a Electrician will have:
- Successfully completed the FICA
- Achieved SVQ Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation
OR:
- Satisfactorily completed an equivalent course of study approved by the SJIB
- Up to date with current standard BS7671, 18th Edition BS7671
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Industrial, commercial, domestic electrical work experience.
