Brook Street are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Inverness for an Assistant Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a dynamic and growing team within a reputable firm, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional client service. As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients & companies providing them with tailored tax planning and compliance services. You will work closely with the Senior Management team to deliver tax advice on a broad range of corporate & personal tax issues, including corporation tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax. This role will also involve supporting the development of junior staff, helping them to achieve their professional qualifications and build their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Must have experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal & corporate tax legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
