As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients & companies providing them with tailored tax planning and compliance services. You will work closely with the Senior Management team to deliver tax advice on a broad range of corporate & personal tax issues, including corporation tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax. This role will also involve supporting the development of junior staff, helping them to achieve their professional qualifications and build their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Provide expert advice on a range of personal & corporate tax issues
- Support the Senior Management team
- Develop and mentor junior staff, assisting with their technical development and progression
- Review and ensure the accuracy of tax returns prepared by junior team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Must have experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal & corporate tax legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in managing a client portfolio
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
