Job Opportunity: Freelance General Foreman – Civil Engineering Projects
Location: Inverness and North of Scotland

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team for water infrastructure projects. This role is initially for up to 3 months with potential for extension based on project needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring the project remains on schedule.
  • Effectively managing site teams and delegating tasks.
  • Ordering plant and materials for timely project execution.
  • Identifying and implementing proactive solutions to on-site challenges.
  • Upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety procedures at all times.

 

What’s On Offer

  • Immediate start available.
  • Pay Rate: £250 - £270 per day (Gross), dependent on experience.
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 17:30
    • Friday: 07:30 to 15:30

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience on civil engineering projects, particularly water-related projects.
  • Essential qualifications: SSSTS, DOMS, and First Aid.
  • A full UK driving licence and own transport.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
