Depot Manager based in Huntly - Salary up to 38k (based on experience)

Monday to Friday role

Job Description

  • Ensuring a safe and compliant work environment
  • Overseeing stock control and maintenance
  • Coordinating fuel loading and offloading processes
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Managing health and safety matters
  • Managing site security
  • Overseeing vehicle movements
  • Coordinating vehicle pickups, deliveries, and repairs
  • Coordinating and execute the commissioning and decommissioning of road tankers
  • Verifying the functionality of systems and equipment before handing over to drivers for field testing
  • Coordinating vehicle pickups, deliveries, and repairs, primarily focusing on the Huntly and Montrose
  • Collaborating with external partners such as Alfons Haar and RTN
  • Liaising with management and operational team
  • Validating and authorising timesheets
  • Tacho auditing - Driving & Working time regulations.

You will have:

  • Strong organisational skills to manage the Huntly-based fleet, including overseeing administrative tasks and vehicle confirmations
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ideally have CPC qualification
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate across the business with clients and suppliers
  • Strong Health and Safety reporting background
  • Good knowledge of ISO and quality management
