Sonic Summary

We are seeking 2 IT Field Engineers for a 6-month contract, potentially extending to 9 months, to install and commission routers and switches across the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
The position offers a rate of £230 per day, and the engineers must have relevant experience in similar roles.
Engineers will be responsible for installing new routers on circuits, conducting tests, and troubleshooting issues during bridge calls with the commissioning team.
Candidates must reside in the Highlands, possess strong communication and customer service skills, and have their own car and mobile phone.
Typical clients include doctors, chemists, schools, hospitals, and government buildings.

IT Field Engineers

We are looking for 2 Engineers to commission and install routers /switches for multiple sites across the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

2 engineers for 6 months, potentially leading to 9.

Rate is £230 per day inside IR35

The Engineer would be going to sites, installing and commissioning new router on a new circuit. A bridge call is normally set up with commissioning team to check if all working and to troubleshoot any issues.

After everything has been tested, the old kit is removed and signed off.

Ability to climb steps on occasion

The Process documentation will be provided and there will be shadowing before lone working.
