Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead site teams, including subcontractors and direct staff, to achieve project milestones.
Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to specification.
Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet industry standards.
Manage site logistics, materials, and resources efficiently.
Ensure accurate reporting, including daily progress reports, site documentation, and cost tracking.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to the project's success.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of groundworks, infrastructure, drainage, and structural works.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project plans.
Full UK driving license.
