The contractor have an excellent reputation for delivering projects from 10m-1bn+ across both the public and private sectors.

They are currently seeking a Civils biased Project Engineer for the delivery of a major transmission line upgrade (100m+) in the highlands of Scotland.

What do they need?

  • Manage site engineering tasks, including roadworks, trenching, HDDs, backfilling, and site restoration for cable projects.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and teams to align civil works with project goals.
  • Perform technical and environmental site evaluations.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards in challenging environments.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree) or relevant experience in Utilities/Construction.
  • Knowledge of budgets, financial control, and commercial practices.
  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence with flexibility to travel.
