Evolve are recruiting for an independent pharmacy who are looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician to join their team. You’ll be responsible for the final accuracy check of dispensed prescriptions before they are supplied to patients, you’ll also work closely with pharmacists and dispensing staff.

Based in the Scottish Highlands, this roles offers full or part time hours with the flexibility to choose which days you work.

Ideal Requirements for an Accuracy Checking Technician

  • A recognised Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management systems and technology.

Role Responsibilities for an Accuracy Checking Technician

  • Conduct final accuracy check on dispensed prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of checking activities n accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all prescriptions comply with current regulations, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and support to junior pharmacy staff on dispensing accuracy and best practices.
