Details:

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant on a full time basis. This is a remote/home based role with the requirement to attend meetings and visit clients in the Inverness area on a regular basis. Working hours will be Monday Friday with the pattern of hours flexible to suit.

Duties include:

  • Preparation of accounts for a wide range of small-medium clients across sectors.
  • Manage and prioritise a portfolio of clients including workflow, communication and deadlines to meet the needs of the clients and business.
  • Support clients with ad hoc advisory projects.

Person specification:

  • Preferably a professionally qualified Accountant with experience in an accounting environment (commercial background will also be considered as will P/Q or qualified by experience).
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • In-depth analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Capable of working autonomously and managing a varied personal workload.
  • Client focused and delivered with excellent communication.
  • Good organisational and time management skills and able to prioritise to meet deadlines and the needs of the business.
  • Strong IT skills with cloud accounting experience preferred.
