HSEQ Advisor

Inverness

Up to 45k

Reporting to the Operations Director, the HSEQ & Security Advisor will play a key role in supporting the organisation's adherence to safety, health, environmental, quality, and security standards across our Operations, Retail, and facilities throughout Scotland.

This role will involve:

- Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to HSEQS.

- Assisting in the conduct of risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards.

- Facilitating training and providing guidance to employees on HSEQS matters.

- Some travel within Scotland will be required to support operations across different locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and improvement of HSEQS policies, procedures, and standards, including security considerations
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with all relevant HSEQS and security regulations
  • Contributing to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with the company's operations, including security risks
  • Providing guidance and support to all departments in implementing and maintaining HSEQS requirements, incorporating security best practices
  • Facilitating employee training and awareness on HSEQS matters, including security awareness and training
  • Supporting the investigation of incidents and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, including security-related incidents
  • Collaborating with departments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with company operations, including security risks
