Were looking for an Electrical Engineer with several years of proven, hands-on experience, ideally within a food or automated production environment. You should be a confident communicator, capable of working independently and managing tasks across different areas of production.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the electrical specialist within the Engineering team, mentoring and providing on-the-job training to colleagues.
  • Ensure maximum operating efficiency by keeping all electrical plant equipment in top working condition.
  • Reduce downtime by conducting regular Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks to keep machinery running smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults across all installations.
  • Perform both preventative and general maintenance tasks.
  • Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance plant operations, focusing on quality, cost, and safety improvements.
  • Complete daily maintenance logs and job cards efficiently.
  • Conduct inventory checks to ensure spare parts and materials are always stocked.
  • Be willing to learn our production machinery operations through comprehensive on-the-job training.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Time-served Engineer with a minimum of City & Guilds qualifications.
  • 18th Edition IE Regulations preferred (or equivalent).
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to stay focused and efficient, even under pressure.


Salary & Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience), with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.

Flexibility for occasional weekend work may be required. Our benefits package includes profit-related pay and private health cover.
