We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an award winning, prestigious chartered accountancy practice, for a new position within their Business Services Department. Our client is currently recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Senior at Management or Senior Management level depending on experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive management experience gained within an accountancy practice or similar professional services environment
  • Practical experience of drafting management accounts, producing and reporting on management accounts, setting up accounting systems/functions plus experience of completing VAT returns
  • ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience of managing, leading and inspiring team members
  • Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is required

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing managements accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Supporting and developing staff to cultivate a high-performing team through effective leadership, training, support and development
  • Reviewing client records and making recommendations for improvements and assisting the clients with implementation projects including planning and training
  • A proven track record of working to deadlines and effectively handling multiple priorities, with a positive attitude to problem-solving and working in a team
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
