I am delighted to be partnering with a dynamic business based on the outskirts of Ipswich seeking to recruit an Accountant in a key role to support the financial health of the business as they grow.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Manage accounts payable process
- Recording daily financial transactions
- Updating a general ledger
- Preparing trial balances for review
- Maintaining and filing requisite documents for taxation compliance
- Monitoring cash flow
- Producing financial reports and forecasting to assist managers in making strategic decisions
- Reconciling data
The position will require an AAT qualified / qualified by experience accountant with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and strong communication skills.
