We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Partner to join a well-established firm in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on audit-related matters, business performance, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and grow client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting clients through key business decisions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of auditors, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service while providing coaching and development opportunities to junior staff.
  • Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm’s audit service offering.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the firm, ensuring that audit services remain competitive and compliant with industry changes and regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments within the firm, including tax and advisory services, to offer integrated solutions to clients.

Who You Are:

  • A highly experienced Audit professional with a strong background in managing audits for a broad range of clients.
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified, with extensive experience in audit and assurance services.
  • A natural leader with experience managing a team, mentoring staff, and driving high performance.
  • A strong communicator, skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify business development opportunities and drive the growth of the audit practice.
  • Proactive and strategic, with a keen focus on delivering value to clients while maintaining quality and compliance.
