We are looking for a motivated individual to join this leading company as a Finance Apprentice! You will play a key role in their finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Supervisor. You will be responsible for the management of the purchase ledger, ensuring precision in the recording of purchase invoices. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while pursuing relevant qualifications, sharpening your finance skills in a fast-paced environment!

Your day-to-day duties:

  • Accurately input purchase ledger invoices into the accounting system.
  • Verify invoice costs against expected amounts and ensure managerial approval prior to payment.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in the supplier payment process and support expense claims and credit card transactions.
  • Generate analyses and reports through routine calculations as requested.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing and phone inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the finance team for a smooth workflow.
